all day and all night "morning" sickness

If you are wondering what in the world has happened to this blog, let me tell you:  I am sick!  Sick with "morning sickness", something that I've encountered before, but never even close to the magnitude it's been this time around.

I've seriously had days where I've thought I'd rather die than go through any more of it.

That is definitely not a normal feeling for me.

I'm just having a rough go, and my poor boys are hanging out with me in bed or watching movies tearing my house apart.  Wes is busy grocery shopping, driving around (nope, haven't been able to conquer that one either die to extreme dizziness and motion sickness), fixing meals, doing laundry....basically doing double-duty as mom and dad.  Definitely a new thing for both of us, and he has been a hero!

Currently, we are praying hard for a miracle because Wes' brother, Bryan, is getting married in San Diego and we haven't the foggiest idea how I am going to get there.  I've thought about getting a prescription, but opted to try some natural remedies first.  So far, they are helping immensely.  Too much, makes me wonder if I'm either farther along than I thought, or something happened (and I won't even go there because I don't want to worry).  But either way, they are helping me feebly function and get through the day.  With lots of naps.  ;)

I am using these:

and this:
and this is all I can "drink":
I'm not whining or complaining (Wes is the lucky guy who gets most of that.  My mother and my best friend, Celest, get what's left over.).  I've done way more of that than I care to admit.  Man, I guess I am a big baby!  I just thought I'd let you all know where I was and why I wasn't blogging.

Once this darn computer screen stops making me sick, I will be back.

Until then, it's LOTS of sleep, praying, and patience. And gratitude that at least I know the baby is okay if I'm feeling yucky....and that a baby is the cause of all this.

Thank goodness for good ol' Andy Griffith when you are too sick to read.  And my cozy, soft bed.

Goodnight everyone.

Oh I feel for you. I had rough 24/7 morning sickness too back in the day. I use to think it would have been easier just being in a coma for 3-5 months. Glad those sea bands are working. They really helped my DIL too. Better days are ahead!

Oh :( I'll keep you in my prayers. Sounds like you're having quite a rough time! Hang in there!

Grandma Honey, you are a kindred spirit! I'm hanging in there!
Rachel - It's been rough for sure, but it definitely makes you appreciate the good days! I hope you're enjoying your new adventure back east. How are things?
